Single Girder - Top Running Overhead Crane
Modular Cranes, a Leader in Overhead Cranes
Single Girder Cranes are typically the most economical choice for light to medium duty bridge cranes. Single Girder cranes are highly efficient cranes that are built for cost saving, low maintenance and are often used in small spaces. They are designed using either a single girder box or with an I-Beam structure.
We are one of Australia’s leading overhead crane suppliers, offering modular component packages which cover an entire load range up to 250 tonne. Our range can be easily adapted to suit any factory shape or application.
Technical Specifications:
Lifting Capacity: 2~32t

Single Girder Top Running
Single Girder Cranes are typically the most economical choice for light to medium duty bridge cranes.
Single Girder Top Running Overhead Cranes are designed to travel on top of a runway support structure that can be either supported by engineered or existing building columns.
The main structure of crane is composed of box steel beams or profiled ones coupled with travelling motorized end carriages. The lifting systems consist of electric hoist rope or chain hoist which run on beams allowing horizontal movements.
For special applications single girder cranes can be designed to client specific requirements.
Our single girder cranes are designed to cover a wide range of modern industrial demands, providing excellent value for money with no compromise on performance and safety.
Our superior designed cranes has reduced wheel loads which means cost savings on new support structures and increased lifting capacities on existing structure.
Advantages & Benefits of Overhead Cranes
Increased Safety
Forklifts carry the risk of imprecise stacking, dropping goods as well as accidents (due to crashing). Since an overhead crane moves objects through the overhead space of the facility, they don’t carry any of these risks and are capable of moving heavy and bulky loads more quickly than forklifts and other lifting equipment’s.
Improved Load Control
Overhead cranes, more often than not, come with precision controls that will position objects precisely and without much trouble. This allows the operator to place the load exactly where they want it to be, while minimizing human error.
Avoid Floor Obstructions
Since overhead cranes are positioned as high as your facility’s ceiling, they avoid just about everything on your warehouse floor. This, in turn, allows you to install the device just about anywhere you desire. Also, you will be able to carry items safely above any obstacles, thereby reducing product damage.
Improved Ergonomics
Overhead cranes do the heavy lifting for you, they remove strain on your operators, which reduces risk of injury, while reducing worker fatigue & accidents.
Easy Lifting of Loads
overhead cranes come with high lifting capabilities.
Customizable
Overhead cranes can be easily customized by adding one of many Below-The-Hook accessories including lifting beams, spreader beams, roll & coil lifters, tongs, sheet lifters and pallet lifters.
What Type of Crane Do I Need?
Following considerations should be made when purchasing an overhead crane
- Lifting capacity
- Lifting height
- Working environment (temperature)
- Working class (how many hours the crane will work in one working day)
- The Voltage, frequency
- Power supply reqirement?
- Hoist model (wire rope hoist or chain hoist, if chain hoist, manual type or electric type, manual motorized trolley)
- Special functions requests? (Working area, intelligent functions etc.)
